About Remindlo
Remindlo is a reminder platform that texts your customers before a booked visit and when a service is due again, for small service businesses that live on repeat customers.
I started Remindlo after seeing how many good small businesses lose customers. Not because the work is bad - they are excellent at what they do - but because customers need a nudge to turn up, or to come back when their next visit is due.
Winning a new customer takes ads, reviews and months of building trust. Keeping one you already have takes a text message at the right moment. Remindlo sends that message, so you can keep the customers you've already earned.
Cheers,

Peter

What Remindlo does
Reminders before a booked appointment
A text goes out a set number of days before the visit, at an hour that suits your trade. Customers turn up or rebook in advance, instead of leaving an empty slot. Reducing no-shows
Reminders when a service is due again
MOTs, dental check-ups, boiler services and vaccinations come round on a cycle. Remindlo tracks the next due date for each customer and moves it forward after every visit, so the reminder never has to be set by hand. Recurring reminders
Messages after the visit
A thank-you the day after, a review request while the visit is fresh, and a win-back message for customers who have not been back in a while. These are the messages most businesses mean to send and never do. Review requests, reactivation
Calendar sync
Remindlo reads the diary you already keep in Google Calendar, Outlook or iCloud and turns each booking into a contact with a reminder attached. A paper diary works too: take a photo of it and the contacts are read out for you. Calendar sync
AI name recognition
Calendar entries are rarely tidy. When an entry has no guest attached, an AI model reads the customer's name out of the title, and declines rather than guessing when it cannot find one. AI name recognition
Replies, reports and an API
Customers can text back and the reply lands in your dashboard. Paid plans show what was delivered, and a REST API, Zapier and Claude connect Remindlo to the rest of your tools. Two-way SMS, API
What makes Remindlo different
It works on top of the diary you already keep
All-in-one booking and practice systems only send reminders once your whole business has moved into them. Remindlo adds just the reminders, over Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud or a spreadsheet, so there is nothing to migrate.
One price per business, not per seat
Many tools charge per team member or per location, so the bill grows with your team. Remindlo is one price whether you work alone or run a team of twelve.
Text messages included in the monthly price
Starter is £19 a month with 75 SMS included, and the free plan has 10 SMS every month with no card. No pay-as-you-go surprises. Prices are set in pounds; outside the UK, checkout charges your card in your local currency. Pricing
Built for services that come round again
Most reminder tools only know about the next booking. Remindlo also reminds a customer when their MOT, check-up or annual service is due, which is the visit they would otherwise forget. Recurring reminders
Every number we publish has a source
The figures we use now are either our own measurement with its sample and date, or a published study you can read. Evidence

The team behind Remindlo

Peter Bednarek
Founder
Builds the product and communicates with customers.
How it started
Remindlo was created in 2025 for business owners who know how hard it is to stay in touch with customers when a competitor is just around the corner.
We noticed that many service businesses - garages, beauty salons, dentists, vets - have loyal customers, and were losing them simply because nobody reminded them about their next visit.
The first reminder went out in November 2025. Since then Remindlo has sent 2,190 reminders to 1,270 people, across 200+ businesses. How we count
Before Remindlo
Peter has been building things from scratch since he was a teenager. In 2004 he started sport.czest.pl, a local sports site for Częstochowa in Poland that grew into a small newsroom covering volleyball, football and youth sport. In 2026 he rebuilt it on his own, with AI doing the work that used to need an editorial team.
He then spent fifteen years at LiveChat (now Text), starting on the support desk and moving to whatever the company needed built next: a support team that answered around the clock, HR, legal and administration, and later a sales team. Years of talking to customers every day are where the idea behind Remindlo comes from: most customers who drift away were never unhappy, nobody simply got in touch at the right moment.
Alongside Remindlo he builds Scanlo, free trackable QR codes that small businesses use to collect Google reviews. His open-source projects are on Github.
Why now
Small businesses can't rely on Google Maps and social media the way they used to. AI Overviews answer customer questions before they reach your website, organic reach keeps falling, and paid ads keep getting more expensive.
The one thing that still works is the customer list you build every day: people who trust you, know your work, and just need a nudge when the time is right - whether that's their MOT, tomorrow's appointment, or a review after the job.
How Remindlo works
- Step 1
Create a free account
No card and no contract. The free plan includes 10 SMS a month, which is enough to see it work on real customers.
- Step 2
Bring your customers in
Connect Google Calendar, Outlook or iCloud, import a spreadsheet, or photograph your paper diary.
- Step 3
Check the three ready-made campaigns
Every account starts with a reminder before the visit, a thank-you after it and a win-back message, with timing chosen for your trade. Edit the wording or keep it.
- Step 4
Let it run
Reminders go out on their own, never during your quiet hours. Replies land in your dashboard, and a customer who texts STOP is not messaged again unless they text START.
Product principles
Stick to what you're good at
You're a master at running your business - that's where your time should go. We won't add any overhead to your day.
Nothing to migrate
Your customer information is already in a calendar, a spreadsheet, or your booking system. We connect to it.
Set up once, not every day
Connect your data, use ready-made templates, and the reminders run on autopilot. The fewer times you touch Remindlo, the better it works.
Works in the background
The best reminder system is one you forget you have. It runs on its own once it's set up - no logging in, no approving each message.

Who is behind Remindlo?
Remindlo was founded in 2025 by Peter Bednarek - he still builds the product and communicates with customers. The first reminder went out in November 2025.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance and you can cancel at any time from your dashboard. The free plan does not ask for a card.

No. Remindlo reads the calendar you already use, whether that is Google Calendar, Outlook or iCloud, and can also import a spreadsheet. Your bookings stay where they are.
